Freshman at Stanford. I build AI agents that operate expert software, and the checks that let an expert trust them.

01 — Now

Stanford, from September 2026

First year at Stanford, Class of 2030. Math 21, Physics 61 and PWR 1 this quarter, and the ambulance network and Prism still open on my laptop.

02 — Summer 2025

TUPA Lab, KAIST

TUPA Lab, KAIST — Research Intern, Transport and Urban Planning with AI · Prof. Inhi Kim · Summer 2025. Built the ambulance–ER matching system and an MCP-based research tool; presented findings at the lab forum. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Minister’s Award in 2025 came from this work.

03 — Summer 2026

KAIST TUPA lab and Dochak

Intern at Prof. Inhi Kim’s Transport and Urban Planning with AI lab at KAIST’s Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, where I rebuilt the lab’s website on Notion so the professor runs it himself. In parallel, product developer at Dochak, a KAIST-spinoff digital-twin mobility startup, where I built Prism: an agent that edits and runs PTV VISSIM behind a validation layer.

04 — 2024 – 2025

Taejon Christian International School

ISEF 2025 finalist with a crosswalk signal that watches its own pedestrians, HP Innovator Award third place. Cheer captain for two years, choreographing the competition routine alone. The ambulance agent network took the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Minister’s Award the same year.

05 — What I care about

The moment a model meets a real system

Every project here has the same shape: an expert tool that already exists, an agent that can operate it, and a layer in between that decides what the agent may not do. A hospital agent that refuses without a free surgeon. A VISSIM edit rejected with a reason. A signal that only changes when a measured speed says so. That layer is the part I like building.

Interests beyond that: healthcare AI, education technology, and cities that are easier to move through.

High school

The school bus

In high school I rode the school bus 78 minutes a day, so I built a route optimizer for our six bus routes. When I showed it to our bus manager and administrator, they just sighed. My software ignored the fuel budget and their workload, which were the things they actually had to deal with. So I interviewed them and rebuilt it around what they told me. It cut scheduling from eight hours to one minute, and the school deployed it. What I’m proudest of is throwing away the first version.
